Thank you for the amazing experience I received from you and one of the most beautiful places☺️🙏

Really nice detached bungalow. You are completely on your own, but you have to be aware in advance that you should bring food etc. The path now passes behind the house, so you have undisturbed sea access. Lucy also offers various tours and is always easily accessible. Would come back anytime!

What a great dream place this is. So on the beach with lots of privacy.

Very nice house at the beach! Little paradise! Very good communication with the owner. I would highly recommend this beach house.

We had the absolute best time staying at this beach cabana. The bed was super cozy, the outdoor kitchen was awesome (make sure to bring all the food/beverages you need), the beach has the most beautiful clear water and loads of star fish and other fish and we were the ONLY people there and had the entire beach to ourselves, the locals were kind when passing and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating and had quick response to questions. We did a water taxi out there and had a pick up and it was 160$ there and back. We wish we would have brought snorkel gear with us other than that we enjoyed it. Love that it’s run on solar and rain water! Super cool. Thanks again! Don’t forget your bug spray too it was crucial we did have some with us!

A great place to stay with an extremely good location. The host helps you with all problems and picks you up by paid boat. We brought food for 4 days, but you can also find restaurants for breakfast and dinner nearby. We can also highly recommend a hike to locals. You shouldn't expect hotel standard, it's a better quality beach hut with good facilities.

A little piece of paradise. The views and surroundings are unequalled. The sounds of the sea and birds wrap you up from the moment you arrive until you leave. It's like being in paradise. The house is built completely out of wood and with an impressive palm roof. It has a very special charm. The shower is amazing, a whole experience, and hot water comes in, which is not always the case on the islands. They have plenty of repellent and sunscreen, two of the must's on the islands. The bed is very comfortable, and has the perfect mosquito net to sleep without bugs. There is a nearby hotel/restaurant which is also worth a visit and from where you can use double kayaks to take a walk around the mangrove which is equally wonderful. The owner treated us exceptionally, helping us at all times, as well as his assistant, Hilario, who welcomed us on arrival and departure with great kindness. Although it is isolated, it is known that they can be counted on at all times.

Lucy's place was relaxing and secluded. It had all the basics you need and she and James were helpful in getting us transportation to and from town.

Loved staying in our little bit of paradise overlooking the sea. Thoroughly recommended! You can either self cater and bring all your food with you or eat along the beach at a resort restaurant. Enjoyed daily beach walks, treks in and across jungle, a trip with James to the Zapatilhas, e-bike ride on Las Bocas…so many memories!

It’s a lovely, all natural space situated virtually at the waters edge, which is great at low tide, but can be quite loud during the high tides. If you want a beach to lay in the sun you have to walk down the beach for a few minutes to find a stretch of sand to do so.  The place is equipped with a hot water shower, a big bed with mosquito netting and a small pantry/closet space. The outdoor kitchen is sparse but has a stove and a big fridge. There are also two decent restaurants within a 15 minute walk. For anything else it’s a $50-80 boat ride to Isla Colon, so bring what you need! We enjoyed the serenity that this place offered though there is a path that the local workers take that passes directly in front of the porch. A detour on this path is currently being built so that it doesn’t pass in front of the place which will greatly enhance the privacy. Overall we liked this spot for peace and quiet, the views are stunning and James was very helpful and responsive!

We spent four wonderful days and (star nights!) in the cabin. On beautiful hikes along the coast, we also visited the nearby village of Salt Creek. The home of the young boater Hilario impressed us, although life on the quite flat green island of Bastimentos with less and less drinking water/rainwater and the rising sea level for the small community is becoming increasingly difficult. Hilario brought us reliably to and from the island. The fairly high transport costs are based on the rising gasoline costs, unfortunately its actual earnings remain low. The owner's representative lives 40 meters away - unfortunately he didn't introduce himself to us in person. The description does not mention that the footpath along the coast is right in front of the terrace, especially in the morning and in the evening some people pass by the "living room", so we suggest to put the path past possibly behind the cabin. - A unique place!
